Bolivian producers change packaging and label designs frequently, and the product you receive may differ in appearance from the photograph shown.

Product descriptions, prices, and availability may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit quantities at our discretion.

Section 3 — Food Products, Ingredients, and Allergens

Many of the products we sell are food items produced in Bolivia by third-party manufacturers. We are a reseller and do not manufacture, formulate, or package these products.

Ingredient and allergen information. Product labels are supplied by the manufacturer and may be printed in Spanish only. Ingredient lists, nutritional information, and allergen warnings may not follow United States labeling conventions and may be incomplete or absent. Products may be produced in facilities that also process milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, or other allergens without such processing being disclosed on the label.

You are responsible for reviewing the packaging of any food product before consuming it. If you have a food allergy, dietary restriction, or medical condition affected by diet, do not rely on our website listings — read the physical label, and if you are uncertain about any ingredient, do not consume the product and contact us.

Not evaluated for health claims. Any traditional, cultural, or wellness associations described on our website are provided for informational and cultural interest only. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and these statements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Storage and shelf life. Check expiration and best-before dates on arrival. Store products as indicated on the packaging. We are not responsible for spoilage resulting from improper storage after delivery.

Section 4 — Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product or products. We reserve the right to accept, reject, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, product availability, pricing errors, or payment issues.

Your order is accepted once we confirm acceptance and process payment. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as we may be unable to cancel or change an order after it has been accepted or sent into production.

Purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, discounts, promotions, taxes, shipping costs, and product availability are subject to change without notice.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, and contact information for all purchases. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that you will pay all charges associated with your order, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.

Section 6 — Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, incorrect addresses, or events outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before we can reship it.

Section 7 — Customs, Duties, and Import Restrictions

For orders shipped outside the United States, you are the importer of record. You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the price you pay us and are not refundable by us.

You are responsible for ensuring the products you order may lawfully be imported into your country. Customs authorities may inspect, delay, seize, or destroy shipments at their discretion. Where a shipment is seized, destroyed, or refused entry by customs, we are not able to issue a refund.

Section 8 — Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled according to our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it before placing an order.

In summary: our standard return window is 14 days after delivery, opened food and consumable items cannot be returned, and items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Where this summary and the Return & Refund Policy differ, the Return & Refund Policy controls.

Return requests should be sent to hello@thebolivianshop.com. If your return is approved, we will provide the return shipping address at that time.
